Hui Chun Gong (Back to Spring Qi Gong)

Hui Chun Gong is a Health and Longevity practice means ‘Back/return to spring‘, the  freshness of youth.Regain vitality.
Hui: is the union of the Yin meridians -Lung-Liver Kidney-Spleen-Heart /Chun: is Spring, Youth /Gong:is Labour trough Mastery.

Hui Chun Gong reflects the art of Daoist breath and emphasizes the work of the three treasures, sanbao (Jing – nutritive essence.Qi-vitality, energy,breath.And Shen spirit, soul).

Softness, characterizes the practice of Hui Chun Gong, and it teaches us to harmonize our body through mind and breathing. Hui Chun Gong is also interesting work on the endocrine and hormonal systems. It strengthens the immune system and regenerates the physiological functions of the body.

These secret exercises were developed by Daoist monks in order to effectively prolong life and truly enhance the rejuvenating properties of life and achieving immortality. Only since around 1980’s has Hui Chun Gong been transmitted to the Western world.

Names of the movements and their effects.

  1.Tong Zi Dan Shui– virgin boy carries water on his shoulder. Relaxes neck and shoulders.

 2. Ba Wang Ju Ding– Bawang (the overlord, around 202 BC), lifts a huge vessel. Stretches meridians, spine, and increase blood flow.

 3. Yin Yang Zhuan Huan– the switching of yin and yang. For the mobility of the spine rotation and increasing the belt meridian qi flow.

 4. Xian NuFang Sha– the immortal maiden is spinning silk. Relaxes shoulders, neck and spine. Increases and nurtures the qi of the kidneys and practises the internal rotation inside the dantian.

5. Yu Dai Chan Shen– jade belts around and binds power. Good for the qi flow of the Dai mai, the belt meridian. Increases the qi flow between the hands through the palms, and all through the upper body. Very good for opening the palm’s qi gate Lao Gong point.

6.Tian Di Jiao Tai– heaven and earth in peaceful interaction. Stretches the body to both directions (front and back)Good for prevention as also for gentle rehabilitation while having back pains or slipped disks.

7. Xian Dao Guan Men– the immortal Daoist is closing the gate.

8. Yi Hua Jie Mu– graft flower onto a tree. Good for leg power and the prevention of tired legs in older ages. Nurtures the kidney qi.

9. Sui Feng Bai Liu– to wander around care free. Relaxes the shoulders, stretches the neck gently and increases the qi flow through the palms.

 

Throughout the whole set, it is very important to use mind, awareness and intention to concentrate on the movements and especially the qi flow.

Everybody can practice this set. It’s easy, but very effective and shows results very quick.
